Healthy Club Project Phase 2
As part of the Healthy Club Project Midleton GAA minor boys and girls participated in a Home Economics Workshop “Recipe for Success”. This workshop took place under the guidance of Ms Stacey O’Leary Home Economics teacher in St Colman’s Community College. On the day the players made a Homemade Burger with Sweet Potato Wedges. They also received a Recipe for Success booklet that gives information with regard to sports nutrition and the do’s and don’ts when getting ready for training and matches. The feedback from the players was fantastic; they had a great time and all participated fully in the workshop. Midleton GAA would like to sincerely thank Stacey O’Leary for giving her time and expertise so freely and to St Colman’s for the use of their facilities.
