Juvenile Notes

Fe11
Our Fe11 hurlers lined out at a very windy Mallow on Bank Holiday Monday at 10am in the semi final of the Rebel Og Central Go Games Blitz against Na Piarsaigh. Our teams coped very well, right from the start, with the blustery conditions as we raced into a well-deserved lead. We were able to hold onto our leads to the end and eventually finished out winners on a score line of Midleton 3-9, Na Piarsaigh 3-3.
So we advanced to the final against a very fancied Sarsfields outfit.
For the final the wind had calmed a little so it gave more of an opportunity to our young stars to show off some of their skills. Similar to the semi final we got off to two great starts in both games (Go-Games format is the combined score of two 11-a-side games). And we were able to hold on to win both games and the combined score came to Midleton 5-9, Sarsfields 3-5. Congratulations to all players, mentors and most importantly parents who have given great support to the teams over the last 12 months.
