Health Management Institute of Irl. National Award nomination
Some good news to spread. The Stress Control Programme HSE / Healthy club partnership project delivered in Midleton & the Barrs by Jennifer, Rosarie and their Team has been shortlisted for a National Award from the Health Management Institute of Ireland. Jennifer presented on the programme last week and the programme was selected as a Munster rep for the national selection process. Jennifer will present to the National selection committee next week.
What will happen next is that the winner will be announced following the HMI conference next Tuesday on the 23rd and the prize will be given out by the Minister for Health himself!! We cant stress enough in GAA terms how important this award is and what it means to be Munster champions!!!! Let alone contenders for the overall prize!!!! This is a massive deal in the world of health. There is a huge opportunity here for both Midleton and the Barrs to show case the work and bring well deserved positive attention and focus into the club regardless of the outcome on 23rd

I’m sure you’ll join me in thanking Jennifer and Rosarie for working with Pearse, Jerome & Gavin to deliver the programme and to wish them luck in the presentation on Tuesday.
This is another means of spreading the word about what we are doing in Midleton as part of our Healthy Club Project.
