Dunlea Family Building Fund
The Dunlea family from the Cork Road in Midleton recently suffered a terrible tragedy with the loss of their beloved Stacey in a fire at their home. The trauma was made worse by the fact that the house and all its furniture and personal belongings were totally destroyed in the fire. The family are now without a home. A fund has been established to coordinate the raising of vital funds to rebuild and redecorate the house. All contents and furnishings need to be replaced. We know that the generosity of East Cork businesses, sports bodies, community organisations and individuals can be relied upon to help in easing the familys plight. We are all aware of the tough times we find ourselves in but this terrible tragedy has touched all our hearts.
In the hours immediately before the fire, Stacey and her family had themselves been generously supporting a Fundraising event for Pieta House. It’s time to return that generosity. Work on the house has started in the hope of getting them back home as soon as all our collective efforts allow.
