Juvenile Notes

Fe 10
The Fe10 boys travelled in big numbers – 28 in total - to Lisgoold on Saturday last 20th of July to participate in another brilliantly organised Rebel Og hurling blitz. The weather was superb as all five teams took to the field at 10:30am. The clubs represented were Lisgoold, Castlelyons, Erins Own, Watergrasshill and Midleton (who entered two teams). All teams played each other in a round-robin format. The standard of hurling, at all times during the morning, was exceptionally high from all participants. All of the skills of the game were on display for the spectators to admire; pulling on the ground, striking the ball from both sides, high fielding etc…  More of these events in both hurling and football would be of great benefit to the boys.
Next up for the Midleton U10s is training on Wednesday evening 7pm, as usual, in Midleton CBS grounds and then a match versus Lisgoold at Lisgoold next Saturday morning 28th of July.

Fe 14
Our footballers played out a great hours entertainment against Kilmurry recently in the Premier 2 Football league only to lose out in a high scoring game by 4-13 to 7-02.
