County Final Versus Glen Rovers - POST MATCH CLUB ARRANGEMENTS

Today has been a great day for our club with a fantastic victory over Glen Rovers in the County Final. Magpies Abú.
We wish to mark the occasion in the club facilities after the match and make the homecoming for the players and their families as warm and safe as possible. Unfortunately, we also need to be alert to the increasing COVID risk (averaging over 4,000 a day in the last week)). So, it will be different to previous homecomings. With this in mind, we will need to severely limit access to the club after the match this evening.
It will therefore be on an invitation only basis.
If you have been in receipt of a text from your club section Secretary, then you have been invited. If you have not, then we understand that this may be disappointing but in these COVID times we must make decisions to protect the health and safety of the players and their families. The invitations were issues to the team, its mentors and a limited number of their family members. Also invited were all One Club team selectors and officers, who received single invitations. In addition, a very limited number of our largest sponsors were invited.
The team and their families will have dedicated access to the Hall. Separate arrangements will be made to notify player invitees.
For all invitees, please note:
(A) The invitation is for you alone, unaccompanied, and is not transferable. If you receive more than one invite, only one can be used
(B) COVID Cert/Proof of recovery and ID required for entry
(C) Facilities will open at 6pm but we ask you to arrive by 8.30pm.
(D) The facilities will be cleared by 12 midnight
We ask to be respectful of the bar and security staff and comply with their directions.
Finally, what a match, what a day for the Club, we hope you enjoy your celebrations and that you understand that in this renewed COVID environment we all need to be cautious and it will take individual responsibility to keep us all safe.
