As you are aware, we have ambitious and hugely exciting plans for Park South and to keep these on track our membership income is more important than ever. To play, act as a Team Mentor or Club Officer you need to be a paid-up member, and, if you are a Full Member and have paid your membership before 31st May you may vote at the Club AGM.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions there are no current plans to have Membership Day in the Club as in previous years, therefore the summary below outlines how Midleton GAA One Club will facilitate membership 2021. Your membership payment and your continued support in general is greatly appreciated and we hope that we all be back participating and contributing to our thriving Club over the next couple of weeks /months.

Camogie

We are so thankful to have  all groups are back training safely in the last week.  On Friday 7th May we welcomed our Mini Magpies to our Club as they trained for the first time. We would like to thank Head Coach Niall Ring for the huge amount of time and effort he put into organising  the drills and games the girls played on the evening. Also we were overwhelmed by the support from parents and guardians who turned up on the night and especially the parents who volunteered and gave up their time to make all this possible. If you would like to volunteer within our club please contact us and we would be happy to welcome you on board. A big Thank you to Mary and Coleman Quinn and also to Sheila McSweeney who set up a ‘Club Shop’ at the beginning of training so all our budding stars could be kitted out with new Hurleys and Helmets.

It is great to see our club going from strength to strength in the last few years and we always welcome new players from U6 right up to our  Adult Team. Regular updates will be posted on our Social Media Pages along with photos and training times.

Huge congratulations on Saturday 8th May 2021 to our Coaching Officer Mark O Sullivan AKA Fanta, who completed a gruelling walk from Aghada to Midleton in full Fire Fighter suit carrying an oxygen tank on his back. Fanta gave up his time and fundraised for local man Ryan Murphy. Thank you to all who supported him along the way and on the day.
