The Midleton U14 girls played their 4th and final round of the league last Sat evening 2nd June in Midleton GAA against Watergrasshill

It was or first outing since reaching the Feile All Ireland semi-final and the girls got off to a flying start with some early goals having got the better of the earlier exchanges.

There was 21 girls present for the match and we had the luxury of rotating all the bench to provide significant time tour developing U13 girls.

Watergrasshill put up a spirited effort and kept battling and trying to the vey end, however the Midleton girls proved to be too strong and ran out comfortable winners.

We have now won 3 out of 4 games in this initial league phase, which puts us in 2nd place in the league overall and now we await the Juvenile County board's draw for the next round.

The focus will now shift to the Imokilly Summer leagues for both U13 and U15 where the girls will get an opportunity to play an additional 4 or 5 matches

Rachel Ryan 3-2

Emily Lamb 1-1
