The boys Fe8 were in Rostellan on Saturday 17th. This was ideal end of season stuff as the outing consisted of Gaelic Football and Hurling matches. Both Midleton and Aghada had sufficient numbers that allowed the clubs field two teams.
So, on what was a breezy morning hurling was first up. The two hurling games served up some fine performances. Midleton only just shaded both hurling games. From what was witnessed on Saturday hurling is in safe hands for the future in both of these clubs.
Second on the agenda was the football matches. Again, all participants can be proud of their contributions and it’s safe to say that from the evidence of the morning’s games there’s a lot of work being put into both clubs at this age group.
FYI: Registration for all U8 Midleton players is next Saturday 24th September: 10am-11am.. New players always welcome.
