Midleton's Fe 10 hurlers played Aghada in Rostellan on Saturday 3rd September.
Midleton travelled with 15 players for the County Board hurling league match. The format was 11 players per team and two 25 minute halves. Midleton got off to a slow start and allowed Aghada to rack up a few goals in the first 10 minutes without reply. However once the Midleton lads got up to the pace of the match things levelled out and our midfielders and forwards made some great scores themselves.
The second half went in Midletons favour and our lads played very well in all areas of the pitch.
Due to numbers we were required to use substitutes but each player got good game time.
