Hurling Leagues
We have been drawn to play Newtownshandrum away in the first round of the Senior Hurling League and against Carrigaline at home in the Intermediate (Division 4) Hurling League, both games are ear marked for February 28th.  
The full list of fixtures for both leagues can be found on our club website.

Inter County Hurling
Patrick O’Mahony played at full back and Paul Haughney who scored five points from mid field were both part of the Cork Senior team which defeated UCC 2-12 to 0-13 in the Canon O’Brien Trophy game at the Mardyke last Saturday afternoon in dreadful conditions, Cormac Walsh played a right half forward for UCC. 
Then on Sunday last Cork defeated Kerry in the Munster Hurling League in Mallow by 1-20 to 0-18 with Luke O’Farrell scoring 1-03 from full forward and Conor Lehane returning from injury played at mid field and scored 0-06 (0-02 frees’).
They will play Waterford in round 3 of the Munster Senior Hurling League next Wednesday 13th January in Mallow @ 7.30pm.

Hurling & Football Meeting
The first meeting of the Club Executive will take place on Monday 18th at 8pm, all officers, board reps, subcommittee reps and team managers are requested to attend.

Our Membership Rates for 2016 are as follows;   
Adult: Waged , Player (Gym inclusive)          €150
Adult: Student, Player (Gym inclusive           €100 
Adult: Unemployed, Player (Gym inclusive)  €100  
Adult: Waged, Non Player + Gym                  €150 
Adult: Waged, Non Player (Without Gym )     €80  
Adult: OAP > 66yrs.                                        €30

Camogie
Thanks to the large number of girls and their parents who came along to our Registration on Saturday morning last, a special word of welcome to all our new players.  Training will commence in the middle of February, a text will be sent to all confirming the date ahead of time.  Anyone who was not able to make it last Saturday morning can register on the first night of training.
Any queries please contact Sheila on 087 6822916.  We would like to wish all a Happy New Year as we look forward to 2016 both on and off the field.  

Just over 50 years ago the Churchtown North Camogie Club was formed in 1965, one of the first committee’s elected was as follows;

Chairperson – Rita Coleman, Vice Chairperson – Noreen Wrenne, Treasurer – Mrs Josie Knowles, Secretary – Mary Salter
Committee – Mrs Colette Leahy (nee Walsh), Mary Barry, Mrs Noreen Bailey (nee O’Reilly), Pexie Cooney & Mrs Julia Cahill (nee O’Brien).
Selectors – Josie Knowles, Noreen Wreene (Trainer), Michael Knowles, Collette Walsh & Dick Knowles.     

Ladies Football 
Training for the under 10 girls upwards will return to Midleton Hockey Pitch on Monday January from 7-8 pm. A text from coaches will be sent out to confirm your return. The under 8 girls will return indoors to the Community Centre on Monday 18th from 6-7pm. Again a text will be sent out to Parents to confirm this. We look forward to seeing all the girls and their Parents again and getting back into training.

Lotto
Our Lotto Jackpot was €2,800, there was no winner, the numbers were 4,14,20 & 25, the lucky dip winners were Mary Fitzgerald, Jerome Curtin, Liam Ryan, John O’Sullivan & Willie Ring, next week’s Jackpot will be €3,000.  
Tickets are on sale at the Club Bar, O ‘Neills Bar, Linehan’s Bar, Maple Leaf Bar, O’ Farrell’s Butchers, Frank Murphy Butchers, Pat Walsh Paints, Chadwicks, Teach Beag & Niall Mac’s Bars.

BINGO takes place each Friday evening at 8pm in the GAA Pavilion with a weekly guaranteed Jackpot of €1,000. 

Club Shop
The shop is now open each Saturday morning from 11 to 12 in the Club

Juvenile Indoor Training 
Our Indoor training will resume on Saturday next the 16th of January in the Community Centre at the same times as before the Xmas break.
