Senior Hurling 
Our hurlers had a very tough but deserved victory in the League over Bride Rovers in Midleton last Friday night on a score of 1-15 v 1-14.  
Team: Tommy Wallace, Gavin Bagnell, Patrick O’Mahony, Alywin Kearney, Declan Ryan, Padraig O’Farrell, Peter Dowling, Paul Haughney, Darren Quirke, Leslie Coughlan, Seamus O’Farrell, Patrick White, Padraig O’Keeffe, Brian Hartnett & Cormac Walsh. Subs used Sean O’Farrell & Michael Abernethy.
Our next game in the League is Saturday 13th June at home v Ballyhea @ 6.30pm

Junior Hurling
Our Junior 1 hurlers we had a very good win over visitors Carrignavar in the League last Sunday morning. Playing against a very strong wind in the first half we were behind by 2-05 v 1-10, in the second half we got on top and ran out convincing winners on a score of 3-18 to 1-14.  
Team: Joe Loftus, Elliot Mulcahy, Gavin Bagnell, Eoin Ferriter, Billy O Shea, Padraig O’Farrell, Darren Quirke, Sean O’Farrell, Padraig O’Keeffe, Padraic Nagle, Leslie Coughlan, Shane Ryan, Michael Abernethy, Keith Ryan & Declan Ryan. Subs used Liam Clohessy, Brian O’Sullivan, Mark O’Keeffe, Brendan Ferriter & Josh Deady.
Our next game in the League is Friday 5th v Erins Own away @ 7.45pm, Championship v Carrigtwohill has been fixed for Sunday June 21st in Rostellan @ 7.30pm. Training continues on Tuesday & Thursday @ 7.15pm.

Munster Hurling Championship
Best of luck to our club players Conor Lehane, Luke O’Farrell, Killian Burke & Aidan Ryan who are part of the Cork panel for next Sunday’s semi final v Waterford in Thurles at 4pm. 

Examinations
The Club Executive would like to wish all our players and indeed one of our selectors the very best with the Junior & Leaving Cert examinations beginning on Wednesday. 

Camogie
It has been a busy week for Midleton camogie, the  Under 8’s played Killeagh at home, Under 10’s travelled to Fr O’Neills, training on Tuesday evening for the older age groups and Friday evening for all age groups. Also last Friday evening the U14  team met Kilbree at home in their latest  league fixture. The girls showed great heart & team spirit throughout. The result didn't go our way on the night but the girls gave it their all and kept battling until the final whistle. Well done to all the girls involved.

Best of luck to our club player Ali Smith who represents Gael Scoil Mainisitir na Corann in the Sciath na Scoil game at halftime next Sunday in Thurles for the Cork v Waterford Munster Senior Hurling Championship semi final.

Golf Outings
The next Golf Society outing is on Friday June 12th at Fota Golf Club (Barryscourt course) from 3.40pm to 5pm. Reservations can be made in advance with Jim O Sullivan, this outing will be very kindly sponsored by Gary Johnson of the Maple Leaf Bar.

Our annual Juvenile Golf Classic is now only 6 weeks away, it will take place on both July 8 & 9th at East Cork Golf Club. The competition is a 3 Ball Scramble and teams cost only €120, Tee times can be booked by contacting either Anthony Wall 086/3154016 or Coleman Quirke 087/2523759. Tee Box sponsorship is also available at €50, we look forward to your support for this very important fundraiser.   

Lotto
Our Lotto Jackpot was €2,000 , we had no winner, the numbers were 1,3,13 & 15, the €40 Lucky Dip winners were B Moran, Kathleen Mc Carthy, Pa Coakley, Lynda Quirke &  A Maloney, next weeks Jackpot will be €2,200. 
The Lotto draw takes place each Friday in the Club. Tickets are on sale at the Club Bar, O ‘Neills Bar, Linehans Bar, Maple Leaf Bar, O’ Farrells Butchers, Frank Murphy Butchers, Pat Walsh Paints, Chadwicks, Teach Beag & Niall Mac’s Bars.

BINGO takes place each Friday night in the GAA Pavilion from 8pm, guaranteed Jackpot of 1,000 euro!!

 

Juvenile

Fe13
Our hurlers will welcome Ruairi Og from Cushendall Antrim next Friday night to the main field for a challenge game at 7.30pm. Both clubs have had a great relationship together dating back to the All Ireland Senior Club semi final in 1988.
We look forward to welcoming our guests for the game and light refreshments afterwards in the Lounge.

Fe14
On Saturday last our hurlers headed for Littleton to play in the Conor Kennedy Tournament run by Moycarkey Borris of Tipperary.We were in a group with both Kilkenny and Kildare Feile champions O’ Loughlin Gaels and Naas. First up were O’  Loughlins who beat us by a point in a great game, next were Naas who used the strong wind in the first half to put scores on the board which we were unable to match losing out by four points.In the last game we played Tyrone Club Eoghain Ruadh in which we ran out comfortable winners.A great day was had by all and some valuable lessons were learnt by this group of players in their development going forward.This will also benefit us a we prepare for the regional Feile on June the 20th at WIT.

Fe15
Our hurlers qualified for the final round of the Munster Hurling "Super Touch" competition at Ballyhea on Saturday last when we beat Eire Og 3-8 to 0-5, Whitechurch 5-8 to 3-0 and hosts Ballyhea 4-9 to 3-2. 
Panel: Ryan O Riordan, Alan Power, Kian Farmer, Kevin Finn, Cian Murray, Adam O Connell, Coleman Quinn, Mark Daly, Ross O Regan, Fergus Wade, Ronan Lynch, Cormac O Brien, Evan Rowlands & Griffin Hurley.

Kellogs Cul Camp
Our camp for Boys takes place from Monday the 29th of June until Friday the 3rd of July. Our camp co ordinator is Patrick Beausang, further details to follow soon. 

Outdoor Training
Training for all the Street League groups takes place each Saturday morning at the MAIN PITCH and will continue over the coming months.
