Midleton Hurling & Football Club News

Senior Hurling
Our hurlers got off to a great start to the RedFM League with a fine victory over Blackrock at home on Sunday last. The exchanges were tough and early on due to a strong breeze scores were hard to come by. The score at halftime was Midleton 1.10 v  Blackrock 0.03. They added two points at the start of the second half but the expected comeback didn’t occur mainly due to our very good defence and sharp forwards.
Final Score Midleton 2-17 v Blackrock 0.08.
Team: Tommy Wallace, Cillian Hurley, Peter Dowling (capt.), Alywin Kearney, Finbar O’Mahony, Aidan Ryan, Padraig O’Shea, Paul Haughney, Patrick O’Mahony, Killian Burke, Seamus O’Farrell, James Nagle, Cormac Walsh, Brian Hartnett & Patrick White.
