U10 Midleton v Youghal
Days after last Monday night's game v Youghal, the Midleton U10 girls are still smiling. An outstanding performance from each and every player on the night. Football is coming home to Midleton thanks to our young superstars. All the hard work and training over the winter months paid off. The girls gave a superb display of skill and ability, their shooting was on target, goals and points galore. The work rate of these young magpies is amazing, a credit to their parents and coaches.

U16 Midleton v Watergrasshill
10 minutes of madness turned our u16 game v Watergrasshill on its head. Played on Sunday 12th April at home in the Midleton GAA pitch, our girls found themselves trailing by 9 points midway through the second half and not looking too good. But in a 10 min spell towards the end of the game they found inspiration from somewhere and rallied with 4 goals and 2 points. Watergrasshill to their credit regrouped and replied with a goal and a point, but it was not enough and we hung on to win by the narrowest of margins. Well done girls, and very hard luck to Watergrasshill who played an excellent game.

U14 Midleton v Glanmire
Played a great game against Glanmire in a must win game, and that they did in style. A great victory to take us into a 3 way play off for a place in league semi-final and qualification into County Championship. First game up was against Na Piarsaighs played in the Tech Field on Sat 17th April. It did not go our way. The wind made this a game of two half’s. Final score Na Piarsaigh 5:5 Midleton 4:6. The girls played well but wind conditions came against us. All is not lost as we play Youghal in the final game next Thursday in Youghal. All still to play for. Well done girls.

Junior A Midleton v Glanworth
A valant performance by our Junior footballers who took on Glanworth in the sunshine at home in Midleton on April 12th. We came up short on this occasion but an honest effort was put in by the girls. Well done girls.
