Twenty Four of Midleton’s Fe 9 Gaelic Footballers traveled to Rostellan on Saturday 10th of March. Conditions were near perfect for the match-up between Midleton and Aghada. Both sides split their panels into two, so that meant two games running in parallel across the carpet like pitch that is Aghada’s home venue. There was time for two full games for each team. All Midleton’s footballers performed to an exceptionally high standard and that was in a morning of very competitive matches. It was the first football match of the year and their discipline, dedication and whole work ethic has been something that they should be proud of.
