On Saturday the 25th our FE10 hurlers joined by some FE9's headed for Dungarvan for our first bus trip of the year.
We played in a blitz with Dungarvan,Tramore,Dicksboro and ourselves.We travelled with 27 players 14 FE10's and 13 FE9's with our FE9 players answering the call yet again.
Dungarvan decided to run an FE10 blitz and a FE9 blitz as every team had around the same numbers and age group.Our FE10's played Tramore first and did very well, in the second game we played Dungarvan where they had a great battle,in the last game we played Dicksboro in a very close and enteraining game.
Our FE9's played the same teams doing very well in all the games,we played 9 aside against Tramore as they had 9 players,against Dungarvan we played all the players and did very well and the last game against Dicksboro we played all the players again in what turned out to be a fantastic battle.Dicksboro started very well but as usual our boys kept going to the end eventually clawing them back.Many thanks to Dungarvan for inviting us to this well run blitz and also the parents that travelled and supported us on the day.
