On saturday the 21st we held the second of the three fe 8 hurling blitzs with St Vincents and St Finbarrs at our main pitch.St Vincents and Midleton had two teams and St Finbarrs had one team.Two games were being played at one time while the other team were training.The weather was fantastic which made it a great mornings hurling.All teams displayed some great skill and courage.The games finished with goodie bags for all kids and tea and coffee for the parents.A big thanks to all who helped on the morning with piches and tea and coffee,also to James O'Brien and Kevin Mulcahy who were refs for the blitz.. We are looking foward already to the next blitz in St Finbarrs.
