Juvenile Coaches back to school

This week juvenile coaches from our club were put through their paces in order to attain their foundation level coaching certificates. As per central council guidelines coaches are required to have a minimum coaching qualification when training teams in GAA games.

Cork County Board games development tutors – Trevor Allen and Mathew Collins were drafted in to provide the information and test the coaches.

We had a great turnout and all agreed that the weeks efforts were worthwhile. The mixture of theory and practical tuition was just about right. Many thanks to those who came out from their warm fires to brave the ball alley. Shows real dedication to both team and club!

Last weeks Club Lotto with a jackpot of €7,600 was scooped by Norma Ferriter of Ballinascartha. Congratulations Norma!
