Minors fail at last hurdle

Our Minors went down to the highly fancied Sarsfields side in the Cork Premier Minor Hurling County Final in Páirc Uí Rinn on Saturday last.
Final Score 2-15 to 1-9. Hard luck lads.

The Juvenile section of our club has just published a Code of Good Behaviour for all Juvenile members. This can be viewed on the “Juvenile Noticeboard” page of this website.

Welcome to our new-look website

Members,

Welcome to our new-look website. To those of you who have visited us before, you will see that the site has a somewhat familiar look, in that while remaining more or less the same, there are some new features which make the site more user - friendly and there is also an element of interactivity which members will, I’m sure, find very enjoyable.

The coming months and years will be a very eventful time for our club, both on and off the field, and we intend to use the best of modern technology and communications to get our message to you.

However we now require you to become a member of the Midleton GAA section of Something.ie. You will find a link for this on the left-hand margin of this page, under the “Links” heading. (Where is says Midleton on Something.ie).

Then just click on the “Join” button on Something .ie page (top right corner). I just ask that you give your real name in your details, (you can also use a nickname for publication if desired) so that we know who you are, in order to set your level of access on the site.

Is Mise,
Pádraigh Ó Clathasaigh,
IT Officer.

Bride Rovers just too good for us

Sundays Senior Hurling Championship turned the elation experienced after the defeat of Cloyne, to sorrow, as Bride Rovers were simply better on the day. Read the Irish Examiner report here:

Well Done to the Midleton Five!

We wish to commiserate with the Members of the Midleton Club who were associated with the Cork Minor Hurling panel, who unfortunately lost to Tipperary in the All-Ireland Final. Nonetheless, we say “Well Done” to Alwyn, Seamus, Luke, Ger, and Martin, on their efforts. Better luck next year……. Now for the County Championship…….!
