Annual Long Puc

On Stephen’s Morning a great crowd gathered for the Sean Keohane Memorial Long Puck. Three buses departed the Club to the routes for the Juvenile and Senior Starting point. In the Senior Competition three groups arrived to the finish point with the same score. They were (1) Billy O Shea, Michael Abbernathy and Paudie O Brien, (2) Garran Manley, Cormac O’Brien and Padraig O Brien and (3) Anthony Cody and Brion Saunderson.  It was decided to have a “Puc  Off” at the Club. Longest Puc wins ! Well done to Michael, Billy and Paudie who were presented with the Plaque. Thank You to Mary Keohane and other members of the Keohane Family who were on hand to make the presentation. Thank you also to Pat O Brien for having the Club ready with beautiful hot soup for everyone.

 

Munster Senior League

The Cork Senior Team where back in action yesterday with their first Munster League Match against Clare at Cusack Park in Ennis. Midleton had two Players on the Panel- Cormac Beausang and Ross O Regan. Cormac came on in the second half while Ross was an unused sub. Final score was Clare 1-20 Cork 0-21. Cork will now face Waterford in Mallow on Jan 2nd at 7.30pm.

 

Lotto

Our Club Lotto was €3,600 and there was No Winner. Lucky Dips winners were Frank  Murphy, Rosie Tynan, Sharon Kinsella, Mary O Riordan and Sonya O Donovan. Next Week’s Jackpot is €3,800.

Tickets are avainable at the Club Shop, O’Neills Bar, Linehans Bar, Maple Leaf Bar, Niall Mac’s Bar, Wallis Bar, Teach Beag, Frank Murphy Buthers, Pat Walsh Paints, Chadwicks and O’Farrell’s Buthchers. Bingo

Bingo takes place every Friday night at 8pm. Usual Jackpot and sheets – Green €520, Blue €500, Pink €850 plus games 4 €500. T&C apply.
