Juvenile Notes

Fe11
The Fe11 panel have a couple of very exciting days ahead of them this coming week in Mallow.
Fe11 Rebel Og Hurling: On Monday 27th we play Na Piarsaigh in the semi final at 10am in Mallow with a final for the teams that qualify taking place at midday on the same day. This is an eagerly anticipated game because the last time the teams met under the Go-Games rules there was a win for both teams (Midleton won one game and Na Piarsaigh won the other). So there will be no foregone conclusions in this fixture. Throughout the league campaign Midleton have won 24 of their 26 games while Na Piarsaigh have been on the receiving end of only 3 defeats. It will take a monumental effort from all players but we will be looking to Neil Fitzgerald, Adam McCarthy, Billy Foley and James Condon to dig deep on the day.
Fe11 Rebel Og Football: On Saturday 1st of November, also in Mallow, we are down to play St Vincent’s in the semi final of the Fe11 Rebel Og League. Similar to the hurling semi this should also be a cracker of a fixture because spoils were shared during the meetings of the teams on the last occasion. These games are what we have trained for all summer long and we are really looking forward to the challenge. The winners of the semi final will go on to play either Glanmire or Na Piarsaigh in the final at midday on the same day. Thomas Lambe, Cian Murray, John Spellman and Fintan Greenwood will be expected to put in solid performances for us on the day.

Fe13
Our hurlers lost out to a much physically bigger Ballincollig side in the Premier 1 Plate League final last Saturday by 2-06 v 3-11.

Fe15
The hurlers had a great away win over recent County Champions Na Piarsaigh in the League last Saturday by 4-08 v 3-09. On the Bank holiday Monday next they face Wolfe Tones in the Premier 2 Football Championship in Midleton @ 2.30pm.

Fe16
Most of our Fe 16 panel those born in 1998 have now completed their time
with the Juvenile club as they now prepare to move onto minor level and the
Adult club. These boys have been a great credit not only to themselves but
also to their parents and the club in whatever or wherever they represented
the club. We would like to wish them the very best in their future
endeavours both on the Gaa field and in life in general and we are
confident that they have the ability and potential to be the driving force
for a very bright future for the club.
The committee would sincerely like to thank John Mulcahy, Martin Mc Conville & Michael Franklin for the marvellous work and time they put  in with this group over the past number of years.
