Senior Hurling 
Our hurlers returned to winning ways in the League when they defeated hosts Youghal in Copperalley last Friday night on a score of 1-09 v 0-19.  
Team: Tommy Wallace, Darren Quirke, Patrick O’Mahony, Alywin Kearney, Leslie Coughlan, Padraig O’Farrell, Padraig O’Shea, Paul Haughney, Sean O’Farrell, James Nagle, Seamus O’Farrell, Padraig O’Keeffe, Cormac Walsh, Brian Hartnett & Patrick White. Subs used Michael Abernethy and Billy O’Shea.
Our next game in the League is Friday 29th at home to Bride Rovers @ 7.30pm

Junior Hurling
Last Monday evening our Junior 2 hurlers played a challenge game against Harbour Rovers (Glanworth) at home. It proved to a very good exercise for both teams.
Many thanks to Pa Beausang for refereeing this game.
Final score: Midleton 0-12 v Harbour Rovers 1-18

On Wednesday night at home in the Junior 2 Hurling League we had a very good win over Youghal. We played some exceptional hurling in this game although it must be said that the early dismissal of a Youghal player didn’t help their case. 
Final score: Midleton 2-24 v Youghal 0-11

Minor Hurling 
Our minors took on Inniscarra last Friday evening in the Non Exam League in Ballyanly and lost out on a score of 3-15 v 0-15.

Camogie
A very enthusiastic bunch of Under 8 girls began their summer season of go games,  fielding two teams  away to Watergrasshill last week.  Under 8 Panel:  Roisin Hayes,  Solene Halligon, Alannah Magan, Kate Saunderson , Leila Berdassa, Muireann McDonnell, Chloe Griffin, Kate Griffin, Sophie Wall Shanahan, Tia wall Wallace, Sorcha Cronin, Miriam Finn, Lilly Kelly, Jilna Jind,  Leah Costigan, Mia Walsh, Robyn O’Neill, Roisin McManus, Ciara Murphy, Cara Pyne,  Ciara McGrath,
Lauren Murphy,  Faye Dunlea,  Robyn Keating,  Hannah  Murphy,  Lauren Marshall-Daly, Niamh Byrne.  
Our Under  12’s travelled to Doneraile on Sunday morning, coming home with  another  two  points on the league table with a score of 3.01 to 1.0 . SuperValu Tokens
Help our Club get a Kit from O’Neills, for every €40 you spend in Hurleys SuperValu you will receive a token, we would appreciate it if you could donate these to Midleton and place them our collection box.  

Golf Outings
The next outing is on Friday June 12th at Fota Golf Club (Barryscourt course) from 3.40pm to 5pm. Reservations can be made in advance with Jim O Sullivan, this outing will be very kindly sponsored by Gary Johnson of the Maple Leaf Bar.

Our annual Juvenile Golf Classic will take place on July 8 & 9th at East Cork Golf Club. The competition is a 3 Ball Scramble and teams cost only €120, Tee times can be booked by contacting either Anthony Wall 086/3154016 or Coleman Quirke 087/2523759. Tee Box sponsorship is also available at €50, we look forward to your support for this very important fundraiser.   

Lotto
Our Lotto Jackpot was €1,800 , we had no winner, the numbers were 4,5,20 & 25, the €40 Lucky Dip winners were James Aherne, Siobhan Dineen, Martin Mc Sweeney, Michael Smith & Catherine Desmond, next weeks Jackpot will be €2,000. 
The Lotto draw takes place each Friday in the Club. Tickets are on sale at the Club Bar, O ‘Neills Bar, Linehans Bar, Maple Leaf Bar, O’ Farrells Butchers, Frank Murphy Butchers, Pat Walsh Paints, Chadwicks, Teach Beag & Niall Mac’s Bars.

BINGO takes place each Friday night in the GAA Pavilion from 8pm, guaranteed Jackpot of 1,000 euro!!

Juvenile

Fe 7
Our hurlers attended a hurling blitz in Killeagh yesterday. It was a lovely morning and we had a great turnout of 41 lads. We fielded 5 teams with every one playing 2 games each . Opposition included Aghada, Lisgoold, Youghal, Killeagh, Fr. O’Neills and Watergrasshill. Great to see the commitment of the lads and everyone getting stuck in and enjoying it. Thanks to Killeagh and Sean Crowley for good day out.  

Fe 8
On Saturday morning last,our Fe 8's had their first outing of the year in Killeagh. In what was a great morning for hurling we had 39 young magpies all togged in the famous black & white,with 4 teams in action and all the boys played with great skill,commitment and sportsmanship throughout the morning.We as trainers we very proud of lads and their commitment to training each week is paying off,so keep up the great work. Well done to all players and parents who attended last Saturdays under 9 monster blitz in Passage. Fielding 3 teams playing against South East division and the City division, Midleton played Courcey Rovers, Sliabh Rua, Ballygiblin, Carrigaline and Douglas.

Premier 1 Hurling Result Midleton 1-11 Kiltha Og 3-4.
After a great tussle for the hour in Castlemartyr it was the Magpies who came out on top by the minimum of margins. This result keeps us on joint top of the Premier 1 Hurling league with Douglas.

Kellogs Cul Camp
Our camp for Boys takes place from Monday the 29th of June until Friday the 3rd of July. Our camp co ordinator is Patrick Beausang, further details to follow soon. 

Outdoor Training
Training for all the Street League groups takes place each Saturday morning at the MAIN PITCH and will continue over the coming months.
