Juvenile Notes

Fe-12
Midleton Fe 12's first Football league game of the season was away to Blarney with an early kick off of 5.30 we travelled with good numbers and only a few missing due to injuries. The 2 matches were played in good spirits and manner we played a nice brand of football and could have won both games if we had our scoring boots on in both games. There was a number of stong performances from players and a good improvement from last year, There was a number of areas we can improve but for a first game there was plenty to priase the boys for we look forward to our next matches .
There was a good number of the boys playing there first leagues games for us, and we look forward to many more from them and they certianly strengthen our squad.
Thanks to all the parents for their help with the early start.

On Saturday the 31st our Fe10 footballers headed for Bishopstown for the first game in the Rebel Óg football league. on the morning we had 24 players and Bishopstown had the same. Both teams had hard games with Bishopstown playing some great football. But as the games went on our lads started to play and ended up getting some fine scores. Well done to Bishopstown on the day and we look forward to meeting them with their Hurley's later in the year. Training every THURSDAY from 6 to 7 at MIDLETON CBS. Saturday training will start on APRIL 14th from 11am to 12.15 at the MAIN FIELD. Well done lads.

Training
Training is back in full swing for Juvenile teams. Check the club website www.midletongaa.com on the juvenile team page for your child’s team training times. We would ask parents to encourage their children to practice during the week even if the weather is bad, parents can practice catching the ball indoors. Please remember to bring your €2 to training sessions. This money is vital to keep the juvenile section of the club funded.

Club Gear
Midleton GAA juvenile club will have a shop with club playing and leisure wear open on the first Saturday of each month. This will commence with the indoor training sessions in the Community Centre and then in the Club Pavilion once outdoor training re-commences.
