Junior Football Championship V Carrigtwohill
Midleton 1-02, Carrigtwohill 1-06
Sat last Jun A Footballers lost out in Cobh to Carrigtwohill, in a match played in what can only be described as difficult weather conditions. Midleton were missing some of their squad due to Cork Minor hurling commitments and were beaten by the better team on the night. We were defeated by 1.06 v 1.02 finishing our involvement in this years campaign.
Team: Brian Behan, Keith Ryan, Barry Fitzgerald, Eoin Ferriter, Jamie O’Mahony, Seamus O’Farrell, Eoin Walsh, Aenghous Cotter, Patrick O’Mahony, Sean Hennessey, Aidan Ryan, Declan Ryan, John Keane, Stephen Moore and Willie O Brien, subs used Padraig Dalton and Leslie Coughlan.

Midleton Minor County Hurling Champions 2010
Sat night last the 2010 victorious County Premier minor hurling champions were presented with their medals in the Club by Fr. Denis Kelleher, Chairman Niall O’Neill and team manager Peter Smith. Peter thanked all the players and selectors including Michael Keohane, Pat Walsh, Dave Hogan and John Ferriter on the great success after 21 years in the waiting.

Midleton Fe 10 hurling V Erins Own
Tuesday night 3rd of May saw a good turnout for the Fe 10 hurling away trip to Erins Own. We split the lads into two teams and played three games of 10 minutes.
Midleton were strong overall and even with changes in position the lads showed good skill and composure on the ball.
There are definite signs of improvement albeit early in the year and goes to show what results practice brings.
Well done to everybody and thanks to Erins Own for hosting us.

Fe 9 hurling V Bishopstown
On Thursday the 5th we headed for Bishopstown for a FE9 Hurling challenge match. On a day when the weather was poor we decided to go ahead with the match. We had a good turn out with 26 players travelling and Bishopstown had the same so we picked three even teams. The format for the evening was three 15min games with each Midleton team playing each Bishopstown team. We did well in all matches getting some good scores and players showing a lot of improvement. With 5mins to go in the last match the heavens finally opened which finished all games, before this we had a great evenings hurling. Thanks to Bishopstown for hosting the match and the parents for the support, also to Ray Fitzgerald and Alan Donegan for helping on the evening. FE9 Panel for match. Kyle Cullinane, Gavin Reddy, Luke Deane, James Coffey, Daire Mooney, Conor Fitzgerald, Daniel o Donovan, Darragh Crowley, Aaron Coughlan, Charlie Walsh, Patrick Kelly, Jack McKay, Evan McCarthy, Alex Quirke, David o Brien, Jack Fitzgerald, Rory Lang, Shane Newcombe, Kevin o Brien, Oliver Murray, David Connolly, Craig Murray, Ben o Callaghan, Mark o Connor, Jack o Reagan, Oran Ryan.
