Camogie

Training

It has come to the end of the season for our Camogie activity, most  groups have finished up for the year where as some groups will continue to train for two more weeks. Either way the end of October marks the end of all training as per other years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our hard working coaches  and backroom teams who put in timeless hours  with their groups. We packed a lot of matches, blitzes, training and fun days into a short space of time, even more so as we were so unsure if we would get to play at  all back in March with Covid Restrictions we certainly made up for lost time. Thank you to all the parents and guardians who fully co-operated with us with all the new policies and guidelines and for bringing your daughter to all the matches and training sessions.

AGM

Our Committee are preparing for our  upcoming  AGM which will take place on Friday 13th November. We will be asking all those who wish to attend to email the Chairpersons account (details will be provided in next week notes). We  will correspond with all members over the coming weeks once we finalise details.

Camogie Jerseys

Camogie Jerseys are now available in the club shop which is open every Saturday morning from 9.30am to 11am . We would like to thank Mary Quinn for  all her hard work in sourcing  these for us ahead of the Christmas season .

Acknowledgements

Finally we would like to express our thanks to Ballinacurra GAA and in particular to John Fitzgerald for allowing us to use their facilities for all training  purposes and matches. It was much appreciated and John was obliging as always in working with us to plan around  the Camogie Timetable under difficult circumstances.

Ladies Football

Our U8-14 girls will have their last training session of the year tomorrow evening in Ballinacurra from 6.30-7.30pm.

We would like to express our thanks to all the girls and their parents for their patience and understanding our the last few months. It was a testing time for us all but by working together we were able to train and play matches in a safe environment. We hope to see you all in the near future so keep practicing at home.
