Midleton's Fe 10 hurlers traveled to Shanagarry last Saturday 2nd March with a very strong panel of players to play their opposites from St Colmans (Cloyne & Shanagarry). Conditions were perfect for the games and the field was in excellent condition. Because of the number of players both panels were divided up so that two games were played concurrently. The games were 15 minutes aside and after the first game was played the teams swapped so this allowed both Midleton teams play the 2 teams from St Colman’s. An incredible hour of hurling was served up from all the players that participated on the day. The stick work and ball control was a joy to watch. Hopefully there will be many more competitive games between these clubs in the years to come. Thanks to all the parents and trainers who helped out on the day.
