FE 9 HURLING BLITZ
Midletons Fe 9 Hurlers were in action on Saturday 12th Feb. In a change to the anticipated trip to Na Pairsaigh our players went to St Finbarr's for their first match of the season.
There were four teams involved in the blitz: Midleton, St Finbarrs, Na Pairsaigh and Inniscarra.
Midleton brought 21 players and fielded two teams with no subs.
The matches were played on outdoor grass pitches which made for difficult picking but all of the players made good effort and showed good skill. Overall the matches were evenly matched and our lads gave it their all.
Next week sees Na Pairsaigh host round two of the blitz on their home patch.
